The Symposium Committee actively
requests abstracts for contributed 30-minute talks in any of the
previously mentioned subject areas of the symposium. Due to the
limited size of the symposium and depending on the number of respondents,
abstracts will be competitively selected with the possibility
of adding an optional poster session. A short abstract of 500
words or less should be submitted to the Primary Technical Coordinator
on or before June 15, 2000 with selected abstracts announced by
July 15, 2000.
A limited amount of sponsor funds has been made available to pay the registration fee for students. Also available are travel funds (up to $500 per student). To apply for funds, submit an application along with your registration form.
The student application form is downloadable in pdf format, if you have any problems downloading this form, please contact the Administrative Coordinator.
In the event that the requests for funding exceed the available money, a lottery will be conducted among all eligible applicants.
